The part-time psychiatrist duties include but are not limited to; outpatient mental health care; that is the assessment, treatment, and outpatient management of veterans with psychiatric conditions and associated problems. The psychiatrist will have the opportunity to provide some telemental health services to remote locations. Duties may include other clinical work and participation on facility committees, tasks groups or special projects groups. Recruitment/Relocation incentive may be authorized. Requires US citizenship, full unrestricted licensure, and degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
